Karnataka Experts’ panel on Covid suggests Universal Passes for completely-vaccinated citizens
The State Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) on Covid-19 advised the Karnataka government to introduce Universale-Passes for the completely-vaccinated citizens for use at entry points of servicespromenadescinema theatres, and airfields.

From 2009-19, Karnataka recorded 116 giant deaths due to electrocution, reveals data

Police arrest seven for‘ defacing’Shivaji statue in Bengaluru
Police on Sunday arrested seven persons for allegedly defacing a statue of Maratha sovereign Chhatrapati Shivaji in the Sadashivanagar area of Bengaluru.

The statue of Shivaji at Bashyam Circle in Sadashivanagar was defaced with a black essay on December 16 by culprits who were reportedly worried about the demand of the Maharashtra Ekikaran Samiti (MES) seeking Belagavi’s junction with Maharashtra.

Five new Omicron cases detected; state census now 19
Karnataka Health Minister Dr Sudhakar on Monday morning twittered that five further Omicron cases have been detected in the statetaking the census to 19. The five cases are from Dharwad, Bhadravathi, Udupi (2), and Mangaluru, Karnataka Health Minister Dr. Sudhakar said.
