Bengaluru-Chennai Train Cancellations in July and August, see which trains will be cancelled

Bengaluru-Chennai Train cancellations: These trains between Bangalore and Chennai will be canceled due to the South Western Railway sector taking up much work. Also, these trains plying between Bangalore and Hubli will be partially canceled. Read information about which trains have been canceled here.

Some trains between Bangalore Yard Bridge No. 867 and Bangalore Cantonment-KSR Bangalore Division Bridge No. 857 have been canceled, partially canceled, rerouted, and regulated to carry out various works, South Western Railway Zone (South Western Railway Zone) said. ) issued a media release.

Cancellation of trains:

Train No. 12658 KSR Bangalore- Dr. Mgr Chennai Central Daily Super Fast Express on July 30, August 6 and 13 and Train No. 12657 Dr. Mgr Chennai Central- KSR Bangalore Daily Super Fast Express on July 31, August 7 and 14 Traffic will be temporarily suspended.

Partial Cancellation of these Trains:

Train No. 12657 DR MGR CHENNAI CENTRAL-KSR BANGALORE DAILY SUPER FAST EXPRESS from Chennai Central Station on 30th July, 6th August, and 13th August will be partially canceled between Whitefield and KSR Bangalore Stations. 

Train No. 16594 NANDED-KSR BANGALORE DAILY EXPRESS from Nanded Station will be partially canceled between Yelahanka and KSR Bangalore stations.

Train No. 17392 SSS Hubli-KSR Bangalore Daily Express train departing from Hubli will be partially canceled between Yesvantpur and KSR Bangalore stations. Additionally, Train No. 06244 Hospet-KSR Bangalore Daily Passenger Special train departing from Hospet will be partially canceled between Yesvantpur and KSR Bangalore stations.

On July 31, August 7, and August 14, Train No. 17391 KSR Bangalore-SSS Hubballi Daily Express will be partially canceled between KSR Bangalore and Yesvantpur stations. Additionally, Train No. 06243 KSR Bangalore-Hospet Daily Passenger Special will also be partially canceled between KSR Bangalore and Yesvantpur stations. These trains will start from Yesvantpur station at their scheduled times.

Route change:

Starting on July 29, August 5, and August 12, Train No. 11013 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Coimbatore Daily Express will ply via Gouribidanur, Baiyappanahalli, SMVT Bangalore, Baiyappanahalli, and Hosur route. Hence, there will be no scheduled stops at Bangalore East, Bangalore Cantonment, KSR Bangalore, and Bangalore Cantonment stations. There will be an additional stop at Bengaluru SMVT.

Train No. 06270 SMVT Bangalore-Mysore Daily Passenger Special train, starting on July 30, August 6, and August 13, will run through SMVT Bangalore, Banasawadi, Hebbala, Yeshwantpur, and KSR Bangalore. Hence, there will be no fixed stop at Bangalore Cantonment.

Train No. 06269 Mysore-SMVT Bangalore Daily Passenger Special will ply through KSR Bangalore, Yeshwantpur, Hebbala, Banasawadi, and SMVT Bangalore. There is no scheduled halt at Bangalore Cantonment.

Train No. 16593 KSR Bangalore-Nanded Daily Express will start from KSR Bangalore station at 12:45 hrs and will travel via KSR Bangalore, Yeshwantpur, and Yelahanka route. There is no scheduled halt at Bangalore Cantonment.

Train No. 16521 Bangarapet-KSR Bangalore MEMU Special will ply through Krishnarajapuram, Baiyappanahalli, Banasawadi, Hebbala, Yeshwantpur, and KSR Bangalore. There will be no scheduled stops at Bangalore East and Bangalore Cantonment.

Train No. 16022 Mysore-Dr. MGR Chennai Central Cauvery Daily Express will ply via KSR Bangalore, Yeshwantpur, Hebbala, Banasawadi, Baiyappanahalli, and Krishnarajapuram route. There is no scheduled halt at Bangalore Cantonment.

Train No. 16021 Dr. MGR Chennai Central-Mysore Cauvery Daily Express will travel via Krishnarajapuram, Baiyappanahalli, Banasawadi, Hebbala, Yeshwantpur, and KSR Bangalore. There will be no scheduled stops at Bangalore East and Bangalore Cantonment.

Control of Trains:

Starting July 30, August 6, and August 13, 2024, Train No. 11301 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-KSR Bangalore Udyan Express will be controlled en route for 5 minutes, Train No. 16231 Myladuthurai-Mysore Express will be controlled en route for 45 minutes, and Train No. 16220 Tirupati-Chamarajanagar Express will be controlled en route for 100 minutes.
