Bangalore-Mysore Expressway: ADGP Alok Kumar displeasure over incomplete work and 25 accident zones
Mysore July 27: The Bangalore-Mysore Express was inaugurated on March 12, highway work is still incomplete, and 25 accident zones have been identified, all of which have been visited and inspected, state traffic department ADGP Alok Kumar expressed dismay.
Responding to the media in Mysore, Alok Kumar expressed regret that ”the National Highways Authority officials did not ask the police to carry out the work and now they are asking them to solve the problem, It will be the responsibility of NHAI authorities to complete the work by obtaining additional grants for such works which are still outstanding”.
The 25 major accident zones have been identified on the Bangalore-Mysore highway and all sides have been visited and inspected.

From the point of view of the passengers, there is still a lot of work to be done on the highway, the work has been inaugurated without completion, and there is no complaint from the authorities regarding the theft of grills and electric poles installed on the highway.

Road accidents are increasing on this highway and the main reason for this is the theft of iron fences, cows and pedestrians are coming to the road, but no complaint has been filed by the authority and if a complaint is filed, appropriate action will be taken, he said.
