Bangalore Toll Rate Hike on These Major National Highways: Same Rate Till 2025

Toll Rate Hike: The toll fee of these highways, including the Bangalore-Mysore Expressway, will be increased from April 1. Here is the information about the toll fee increase on which highways and how much has been fixed.

Bangalore, March 28: From April 1, motorists using the Hoskote-Devanahalli section of the Bangalore-Mysore Highway, Bangalore-Hyderabad Highway, and Bangalore Satellite Town Ring Road will have to pay higher toll charges.

According to the wholesale price index, the toll fee has increased by 3% to 14%. This fee is valid till 31st March 2025. However, the toll charges on the Bangalore-Mysore highway and Bangalore-Hyderabad highway have been increased by 3 percent. Vehicles plying on Hoskote-Devanahalli section of Bangalore Satellite Town Ring Road will have to pay 14% more.

The toll hike has come just 6 months after the National Highways Authority of India started collecting tolls for the 39.6 km Doddaballapur-Hosakote section of the STRR on 17th November 2023. Motorists and the public are complaining about this.

It is known that the toll fee will be levied in April on the Dobbaspet-Doddaballapur section of the Satellite Town Ring Road. On March 11, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated two stretches of STRR spanning 80 km.

Officials informed that the Dobbaspet-Doddaballapur route is open to the public and tender has been invited for the selection of contractors for toll collection.
