Metro Traffic was delayed for 15 minutes, Security guards rescued a woman who fell on the Namma Metro track while talking on a mobile phone.
Bengaluru: A woman who fell on the Namma Metro track On the first day of the New Year yesterday around 6.20 pm, a woman fell from the track at the Indiranagar station of the Metro Rail Purple Line. The woman went down to the rail to pick up the mobile phone that had slipped from her hand. Seeing this, the staff immediately disconnected the electricity and saved the woman from danger. Due to this, metro train traffic was disrupted for 15 minutes.
A woman was talking on the phone while walking on the platform when her mobile fell on the track. Unaware of the high voltage current, the woman fell directly on the track. BMRCL officials said the staff and fellow passengers picked up the woman after the power cut. Metro station staff appreciated the punctuality.

The two passengers, who were heading towards Nagasandra, had gone to the Majestic Marg platform of the Kuvempu Road Metro Station. A passenger said that he should have gone to the opposite platform. To get there, the two got down on the rail with a bag of vegetables. The fellow passengers and security personnel at the place shouted and warned them not to go further and called them back, Then they picked him up.
