Karnataka Elections 2023: The Karnataka Assembly Election 2023 date was announced by  Election Commission chief Rajeev Kumar in today’s press conference on gazette notification, the last date for filing nomination, and then the last date for withdrawal of candidature and other requirements.

The Election Department has officially fixed the election date and result date for the much-awaited Karnataka Assembly Elections by the people of Karnataka.

The Election Department has taken several important decisions regarding this Karnataka Assembly Election 2023, and Firstly, It plans to install around 10,000 check posts to prevent illegal activities, And strict measures have been taken at the check posts along the border.

Key point:

On March 25, the Congress party released its initial list of 124 candidates, which includes the names of former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who will be contesting from Varuna, and Karnataka Congress President DK Shivakumar, who will be contesting from the Kanakapura constituency.

The BJP will announce its first list of candidates next week, aiming to win at least 150 of the total 224 seats in the assembly that will go to polls in May.

And the JD(S) has announced its first list of 93 candidates respectively.
