Two special Trains will run between Mangalore and Bangalore: Here is the schedule

Special Trains: Due to heavy rain, a landslide occurred on the Shiradi Ghat road near Sakleshpur in Hassan district, blocking the traffic. Additionally, night traffic has been restricted on the Atta Sampaje Ghati. Consequently, the Railway Department has announced two special trains to connect Bangalore and Mangalore. Here is the schedule for these special trains:

Two special Trains will run between Mangalore and Bangalore

Mangalore, June 19: Due to heavy rains, a landslide occurred in the Shiradi Ghati area on the national highway, cutting off the road connecting Mangalore and Bangalore. 

Consequently, Dakshina Kannada MP Captain Brijesh Chowta has written to the General Manager of South Western Railway and the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Mysore to urgently provide additional train services between Mangalore and Bangalore. 

In response to the request, the railway authorities have announced two special trains between Mangalore and Bangalore.

Captain Brijesh Chowta mentioned in the letter that there is a need to provide additional train services between Mangalore and Bangalore due to the number of daily commuters and the lack of alternative transport systems. 

He demanded that the authorities take immediate action to implement these additional services as soon as possible. The authorities have taken action in response to this request.

Mangalore Bangalore Special Train Timings:

Train number 06547 / 06548 will ply between Mangalore Junction and Yeswantpur. Train No. 06547 will run from Bangalore to Mangalore on 19th July, Train No. 06548 will run from Mangalore to Yesvantpur on 20th July.

Train No. 06549/06550 will ply between Yesvantpur and Mangalore Junction on the 21st and 22nd of July. Train No. 06549 will run between Yeswantpur and Mangalore Junction on July 21 and 22, while Train No. 06550 will run between Yeswantpur and Mangalore Junction on July 21 and 22.
