Bangalore Pink Line Metro: Namma Metro Pink line work is expected to be completed in two years

Bangalore Pink Line Metro: M.G. There is a gap of 50 meters between the existing Purple Line metro station on the road and the under-construction Pink Line metro station. However, the scheme is designed to make it easier for passengers to change routes. Also, the J.P. Nagar – Kempapura route, J.P. Nagar Thane, and R.V. Jayadeva Station between Road-Bommasandra are under construction.

Bengaluru: 90% of tunnel work has been completed on our Metro Rose Line. Track construction work required for track alignment has started in this part.

This train runs underground from Dari Circle – to Nagawara on the Pink Line. Texmaco Company has started the construction of pillars for the alignment of rails on this route.

Civilian launch of the route began in 2020. 21.5 km. 13 km on the route. Includes Subway. The Pink Line is the country’s first metro line and has the longest tunnel. It consists of 18 stations in total. The civil works of the underground route will be completed by the end of next year.

13.9 km from Derry Circle to Nagawara. Out of a total of nine Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) on the longest stretch, 7 machines have completed the work. Work on 18,832.30 meters of the 20,992-meter tunnel has already been completed.

The work is being carried out in four cost packages of Rs 11,500 crore. A BMRCL official says that after the completion of the tunnel work, the work on this route will gain more speed.

A lot of work is still to be done on the elevated route. 80% of the elevated route from Kalena Agrahara to Tavarekere has been completed and the station work is in progress. In total, we have to wait at least 2 years for the commercial traffic of the pink route.

Nagawara station (work in progress) of Central Silk Board’s Blue Line-Kempegowda Anthadhiradhistri Airport route has interchange stations. The work of this station is also progressing slowly and the work of this route has been delayed.

The tunnel work is getting delayed a lot. Although three years have passed since the start of the work, the tunnel work has not been completed yet.
