Namma Metro Service Suspension: Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) said on Wednesday that metro train service between Peenya Industry and Nagasandra will not be available for three days.
Bangalore, Jan, 25: Green line trains will ply between Silk Institute and Peenya Industry on January 26, 27, and 28 to facilitate electrical works related to line extension between Nagasandra and Madavar, BMRCL said in a release.
Train services between Peenya Industry and Nagasandra will resume on January 29 at 5 am. Passengers traveling to Jalahalli, Dasarahalli, and Nagasandra stations will experience inconvenience for three days.
There will be no change in train operations from Challaghat to Whitefield (Kadugodi) on the purple line. Trains will run as usual on this route.
For three days from January 26 to 29, Peenya Industry and Gorguntepalya Metro Stations will likely experience heavy rush, so commuters are requested to purchase QR tickets via WhatsApp or our Metro App to avoid delays.
BMRCL will open six more ticket counters, five AFC (Automatic Fare Collection) gates, and one entrance at Peenya Industries Metro station, anticipating heavy footfall, a BMRCL official said.
