Bengaluru: A passenger who came from Delhi to Bangalore on a Spice Jet flight lost his wallet on the flight. Complained about this to the call center staff. But there was a strange incident where a passenger, angry at the staff for not taking his complaint seriously, threatened to place a bomb in his wallet.
Passenger Shreyansh Chamaria threatened to place a bomb in his wallet. Hence he was arrested by the airport police yesterday.

Chamaria, who landed at Kempegowda International Airport at 9.20 am on December 26 by flight SG 8536, realized that her wallet was missing and called the SpiceJet call center in Gurugram at 10.16 am.
“The person who answered the call asked questions as usual and put the call on hold. He did not take the call seriously and was frustrated at not being able to retrieve the wallet containing the bomb and asked him to find it immediately,” police sources said.
When the call center staff asked where the bomb was, passenger Chamaria replied in Hindi, “I won’t tell you. It can explode anytime, he said. Spice Jet officials immediately informed the airport police.
Meanwhile, the Spice Jet crew managed to locate the wallet inside the plane at 10.59 am. Later, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) was informed and a special bomb detection team was called to investigate and said that it was a fake bomb call.
The passenger, who was running a garment business, was arrested by the airport police near the Spice Jet counter and then produced before the District Magistrate.
