Bangalore: An incident took place in Bengaluru where a female passenger had a fight with a female conductor on a BMTC bus and assaulted & scratched her in the face. The case has reached the Bagalgunte police station and the police have arrested a woman named Monisha.

Monisha, a resident of Chikkabanava, boarded a BMTC bus from the 8th mile to Dasarahalli on the Majestic-Nelamangala route on Sunday morning. When the bus conductor asks Sukanya to show her Aadhaar card, Monisha is late which angers Sukanya and she shouts to show the Aadhaar card as soon as possible, which makes Monisha turn against Sukanya.

Then there was an argument between each other and a fight. Later, the fight turned violent, and attacked Monisha and Sukanya by scratching their faces with nails, police said.

Monisha said that the lady conductor was hit first: 

Other passengers rushed to Sukanya’s aid and took Monisha to task. Then Monisha, the administrator, hit her first. He said that during the fight, the nail accidentally hit him in the face.

As Sukanya and Monisha’s fight escalated, the bus driver stopped the vehicle in the middle of the road. Later, Sukanya came to the police station and complained and Monisha was taken into custody. Police said Mathikere was an employee of a private finance company.
