Bengaluru December 19: Six cars were crushed in a serial accident on Bangalore Airport Road. A series of collisions occurred near the Chikkajala flyover on Bangalore Airport Road on Monday evening in which six cars collided with each other.
Due to the accident, there was a traffic jam on the road for some time. Chikkajala traffic police arrived at the station and cleared the vehicles. No casualties occurred. But reports said that many people were injured.
A video of the accidents has gone viral on social media platform X. Many cars were damaged with airbags deployed. Traffic police were seen clearing the road after the accident.
What caused the accident?
According to reports, the accident occurred when an Omni car suddenly changed lanes and braked on a busy road, causing the cars to collide with each other on the road. In 2023, an average of 14 accidents occurred in Bangalore per day.
