BENGALURU: On December 31, the last day of the year, MG Road Metro Station will be closed for a few hours. Hence commuters have to use alternative metro stations.

On the night of December 31, metro trains will be extended till 1 or 2 am. That day from 11 pm to 2 am M.G. Entry of passengers is completely restricted at Road Metro station. Commuters can take the metro to the nearby Trinity or Cubbon Park metro stations.

  4. Museum Road: MG Road Junction – Old Madras Bank Road.
  5. Rest House Road: Museum Road Junction – Brigade Road Junction
  6. Residency Cross Road: Residency Road Junction – MG Road (up to Shankaranag Cinema) parking restriction from 4 pm to 3 am.
  7. MG Road: Anil Kumble Circle to Trinity Circle.
  8. Brigade Road: Art and Crafts Junction to Opera Junction.
  9. Church Street: Brigade Road Junction – St Mark’s Junction.
  10. Resthouse Junction: Brigade Junction – Museum Road Junction
  11. Museum Road – MG Road Junction – Old Madras Bank Road Circle

Alternate Road Route after 8 PM:

M.G. Road: Drivers coming from Queen’s Circle and onward will take the left turn at Anil Kumble Circle- Central Street- BRV Junction Right Turn- via Cubbon Road and near Webb Junction at M.G. Road can join.
From Halasuri towards Cantonment: Right turn at Trinity Circle – Halasuri Road – Dickinson Road – Cubbon Road

Parking Facility:

Kamaraj Road – Cubbon Road Junction – Commercial Street Junction.
Shivajinagar BMTC Shopping Complex 1st Floor Parking.
