Unfortunately, there has been a significant delay in the allotment of plots for this project, which has caused frustration among the residents of Bangalore. The layout near the Kempegowda International Airport is almost complete and the allotment was scheduled to begin in the first week of December. Now there is big news about this, so how much will the BDA site cost?
Dr. K. Shivaram Karanta Layout is the second largest Layout under BDA with an area of 3,546 acres 12 Guntas and 34,000 plots have been developed. Currently, over 12,000 sites are earmarked for public sharing. These development plots are priced at Rs 3,650 per square feet. The proposal was submitted to the board on September 25 and the state government’s approval is awaited.

The reason for the delay in the allotment of land is said to be the lack of sanction for allotment of land, and uncertainty has arisen among those who are anxiously waiting to get land in Shivaram Layout. The allotment scheme designates 15,000 plots for land-losing farmers, 2,000 plots for revenue plot holders, and 4,500 plots as corner sites. Additionally, auctions for the remaining sites are expected shortly.
